What’s where
- Highway 79 runs along the west side of camp. The entrance road comes in at the north-west corner, past the Office.
- RV sites are numbered along the camp roads. Long rows run beside Highway 79 and through the middle of camp.
- The cabins (numbered 1 to 34) are grouped together on the east side of the middle of camp.
- The Food / Bar / Band tent is in the center of camp.
- A shower building and the RV dump station are in the upper middle of camp, north of the cabins.
- The Shower House & Laundry is in the south part of camp.
- The water fill is west of center, by the trees.
- Tent areas: by the entrance, in the north-east corner, among the trees west of center, in the south-central field and along the east side.
Getting here
Iron Horse Campground, 20446 State Hwy 79, Sturgis, SD 57785. From I-90, take Exit 32 into Sturgis and head north on Highway 79. Coming south from Bear Butte, the camp is on your right before the drag strip.
